Can you become Santa or Mrs. Claus?
A visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus is the highlight of the Christmas Storybook Land experience for both children and adults!
Each of our scheduled shifts has opportunities to participate as Santa and Mrs. Claus. In addition, there are 10 shifts for our special daytime crew needed for our school tour days and senior citizens, veterans, and special needs day during the first full week of December. All costumes are provided, and shifts are short – usually 2 to 2 ½ hours.
As a candidate for Santa and Mrs. Claus, it’s crucial to be welcoming, friendly, and maintain appropriate behavior at all times. To ensure the safety of our participants and visitors, a thorough background check is a mandatory requirement for all Santa, Mrs. Claus and adult Elves.
An orientation for all Santas and Mrs. Clauses is held at the Volunteer Sign-up in late October (call Patty 541-327-9511 for date and location) to acquaint you with all the procedures and answer questions so the experience will be fun for all.
When your Background Check has been approved, you can sign up as a Santa or Mrs. Claus on the volunteer page.
It is important for all “Clauses” to be familiar with the following:
- Santa and Mrs. Claus Guidelines
- Complete and submit background check
