hristmas Storybook Land is a non-profit corporation, not affiliated with any church, civic, or social organization. Our mission is to provide people of all ages something to enjoy during the Christmas season that is FREE and non-commercial while helping those in need in our local community. Christmas Storybook Land is a year-around project which survives with the help of hundreds of regional volunteers and business and private sponsors. Visitors experience an enormous indoor Christmas forest wonderland with over 100 scenes of characters from Mother Goose rhymes, children’s fairy tales and family movies, two elaborate model train displays, a Victorian Village and the North Pole with Santa TOO! Although admission is free, visitors are encouraged to bring canned food or personal hygiene items for those in need. In 2016, over 32,100 visitors donated 20,450 non-perishable food items to our partner, Fish of Albany food pantry, for local distribution. Also in 2016, Christmas Storybook Land partnered with the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves Toys for Tots and collected 2,783 toys for Linn County kids.
