Do you enjoy trains?
People who can operate either model HO scale or G-scale train layouts with multiple tracks and trains and perform simple train maintenance are needed for all shifts—week nights and weekends.
Experience with model trains preferred but not required.Train operators are required to attend a training prior to operating the trains. Contact the Train Coordinator for more information about training date and time.
Train Operators must be 16 or older or be accompanied by an adult and have permission of the Train Coordinator. A Parent Release Form is required for volunteers under 18 years of age.
In addition, a special daytime crew is needed for 4 school visit days and senior citizens & veterans’ day the first full week of December.

Trains are favorite displays that visitors look forward to each year.

The trains are stored on special trailers and are brought in during fine tuning days.

Volunteers operate either model HO scale or G-Scale train layouts.

If you do not have experience, we can train you.
