e are a non-profit corporation, not affiliated with any church, civic, or social organization. The sole purpose of Christmas Storybook Land is to give people of all ages something to enjoy during the Christmas season that is FREE and non-commercial.

We have nearly 400 volunteers and 128 sponsors that help to put on our show.

We created this page to be a resource for members of the media.

We welcome your questions and can provide you with photo opportunities during our scene creation activities, scene setup day, the show itself, on one of our special children’s tour days, our Seniors, Veterans, & Special Needs Citizens’ Day, or tear down. Christmas Storybook Land Santa Mrs Claus and ElfOur display is open generally the first full two weeks and weekends of December.

December 1-15, 2017

    Monday – Thursday: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

    Saturday – Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

    Friday December 2: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

    Friday December 8 & 15: 2:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Visitors are encouraged to bring canned food or personal hygiene items for Fish of Albany.

In addition we are open during the day the first week for school children and seniors, veterans, and special needs citizen tours.

We provide a simulated walk through a Christmas lighted forest where you can view a 99 scaled down handcrafted scenes of Mother Goose rhyme characters, fairy tale characters, and family movie characters, some of which are animated. In addition there are two huge train displays, and a Victorian Village and Main Street. At the end of your walk, you reach the North Pole and can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

In 2014 we had over 33,531 visitors, 3,500 children on four School Tour Days, and over 670 seniors on Senior & Special Needs Citizens Day. We have 99 displays for people to view.

Our venue is free but we do encourage people to bring a non-perishable food donation which we then give to Fish of Albany for their food pantry. In 2014 we collected 25,450 non-perishable food items.
